The graphic font is combined with a stars and frame motif in a metallic gold print set against smooth leather. Interior details with special hidden meanings further enrich the design. "Becchin Amore" is printed along the card slots—a reference to the sonnet written by poet Cecco Angiolieri for his love Becchina.
